Quick Start Guide – Sync Process

SyncNow enables organizations to synchronize their information from one system to another. Here is how to create a simple synchronization process between two Azure DevOps instances

Add System Connectors

  1. Navigate to the Systems page
  1. Press the Add System button
  1. Create two connections to systems (in this example it is Azure DevOps Server and Service connectors)

New system connectors have been created

Add Sync Process

  1. Go to the Processes page
  2. Press the Add Process button
  1. Enable process to start synchronization immediately after creation
  2. Add a process name
  3. Add a unique short name
  4. Select systems that you want to synchronize. They were created on Step I
  5. Subscribe to WebHooks to synchronize an entity immediately after it was updated (only in Enterprise edition)
  6. Select projects of systems (if they are exist) that you want to synchronize
  7. Provide unique alias for system connectors
  8. Select the Mapping Template option to use ready mapping
  9. Select available template
  10. Press the Save button

A new Sync Process has been created

Check Synchronization

Go to the Azure DevOps Service System -> create a new Feature

  1. Go to the Status page
  2. Review the sync run Log
  3. Review the synchronized entity
  1. New entity has been synchronized

Go to the Azure DevOps Server system to set it
